I am going to Disney Land...

This was probably Arah's statement for 100 times over the last week.  To anyone she saw or met she would proceed and announce her big news.   Despite my dread over picturing her not wanting to get off the rides or go back home or stay up late she did remarkly well for most of the trip.  This is she beyond ecstatic at 10:30 pm in the LA bound flight way past her bed time.

Cheesy smiles all along and coloring prudently.  She was a happy trooper.

A great opportunity to see space shuttle Endeavor on the last few yards of its journey from LAX to Exposition park ready to retire.  Arah holding her 'travel companion' Eddie the Elk for her school's around the world project in this moment.  There will be lots more shots with him.

Right after we took this picture, the shuttle moved ( well not at 17000 mph, but at a couple of mph further away out towards its permanent home.)

 At 'Cafe glace'- WestWood (a.k.a appropriately named 'Tehran geles- Google map)- best Persian sausage pizza and Melon smoothy.   So close to home and yet Nostalgic.  We also stopped by the 'Attari' sandwich restaurant for the greatest 'Olovieh' and 'Bandari' sandiwiches and ' Persian Puff Pastry sweets- noon khamehee, in the area during the weekend and toured and shopped at all the Perisian bookstores and CD shops and even 'Naan Sangaki' bakeries which make traditional Persian whole wheat bread with Sesame seeds!  Life couldn't be better here( well I guess minues the parking)!
