Norooz mobarak!

At 1392 Haft seen table.

The annual Norooz and Persian spring time traditions presentation at Arah's school.
The Amoo Norooz and Haji Firooz story time was a hit.   Arah dressed in a Shirazi traditional girls dress kept on showing off her outfit to her class per usual.  The other girls took turns in wearing the other hat she had brought and wanted to try her dress too!
The kids couldn't get enough of the Persian colored eggs I made myself and the traditionally dressed dolls.  They squeezed one of the eggs so hard it finally cracked :S
They kept on  looking at the book's pictures, and asked so many questions about the meaning of each Haft seen element!  I love talking to kids and teaching them something new!

the First annual Norooz party at Colorado School of Mines. 'Thanx God'  The Persian-scottish comedian Kayvon was awesome!

and Happy Easter 2013.  Arah collected a fair amount of colorful eggs from the neighborhood Easter egg hunt.
