first 2022 New Year ski day at Lionshead Vail

January 2nd, 2022.  Woke up at 5:15 am. Made breakfast for everyone. Was supposed to be in ski school for Arsam by 9.   hit 1 hour morning drive traffic delay on i70W. Arrived by 10am.  He learned the candy cane turns to avoid going down hill on blues.  Arah tackled yet another blue/ in groomed black mogul on BornFree.  We hit a 1.5 hour traffic delay on the return trip making it home by 8 after a 1 hour stop in Silverthorne.  My knee had been complaining due to stepping in the moghoules area since some blue runs were closed despite the map indication.
