Since you were born you have been such a beautiful addition to our family. Now that you're growing up I can see that you are a beautiful addition to the world. As I watch you trying to do things on your own, wanting to feed yourself, crawling and discovering every corner and spot in the house, following me to the kitchen or my office and crying when I close the door, and pulling yourself up to stand against the couch or your bed just to see more of the world, I know you will find happiness and success because I am confident in your ability, sense of curiosity, and empathy for others. We love your beautiful, beaming, toothless, just for me and daddy's smile my Arah when we sneeze, play peek-aboo, dance or just lift you up like the stages of an elevator. You are all these things and so much more and we love you very much.
