Oh how happy it makes me to hear this Hello Classmate song again on this first day of fall and beginning of school year in my beloved hometown. As if it were yesterday when my mom dropped me off at school in 'Daad alley' and I was just this bubbly excited 6 year older ready to explore the rest of the world outside of our apartment in northern Tehran. I drifted away in the crowd of all navy blue uniform wearing 1st grader girls in no time that my mom didn't get a chance to send me off with her last minute advice and parental speech. She later on confessed that it was she who ended up crying instead of me. Love you mom immensely!
