Yes, the fall is finally upon us and what I now remember from Colorado falls is the array of different warm earthy colors in Aspen and Locust trees with golden leaves shining like star-studded earring jewelery under the beams of sun light. and oh we finally got our act together and took advantage of this spectacle! What a shame for us to not have taken a family photo of all 3 of us so far. We have had professional photo sessions for Arah of course but nothing with mommy and daddy included in it. Arah was magically in a very good mood that day and we packed our bags and headed to the Rocky's over the I-70 with no specific plan or place in mind and found this spot in Evergreen! Here are the results made possible by our good long time friend and photographer Elimar Trujillo:
As we drove along interstate 70, we were faced with miles and miles of aspens carpeting the mountain slopes surrounding Evergreen. The colors shift like waves in a sea of brilliant yellow and green! It really is an autumn spectacle and we're so lucky to be living in and experiencing this beautiful state.
The weather was starting to rain but we just got lucky it stopped suddenly and then we were faced with this beautiful spectrum of fall colors! It was more of a dream than reality being surrounded by so many God made beauties and awe-inspiring perfections. It really touches the soul.
There was even a little deer behind us who stayed for a chance to be photographed later on.
Arah finally got the idea toward the end and stopped for a few personal poses up on the statues all by her self.

Oh how much I love these eyes... These long eye lashes are going to take you far my dear...
These are for you Arah! Hope you have something good to remember us by (smile)
