18 month vocabs

As anxious and eager as I was for you to grow up and hit this stage where you'd be able to talk, and communicate with us I can't believe how nervous I actually am  to notice how fast you absorb and expand your vocabulary to become an even more human like person! It's obvious but some times it can only take one shot  for you to hear and learn a new word and permanently save it to your  ever expanding memory. In my opinion the reality of a ' new member' of the family really registers when the children actually start to talk, act, and express themselves in their own unique human like way and not as babies.  It is a phenomenal event and almost in surreal timely magnitudes. Yet as fascinated and impatient as I am to see you thrive and be more self dependent I sometimes wish I could stop the time and keep a version of you as you are right now with me for ever! Yes, I am  nervous and sometimes overwhelmed about what to do for best results but also super excited at the same time for being a part of and helping you with this special chapter of your life.   Of course, the sweetest part of all: Getting to hear all that's going through your busy curious mind some day! (smile)
