We celebrated Christmas day at our house this year with mom’s Safron-rice ‘Tahchin’ Chicken, ‘Ghormeh Sabzi’ kidney bean and herb stew and ‘Loubia polo’ green been rice Pilaf, and my made from scratch potato butter nut squash soup.

Arah was in a particularly good mood laughing and bonding with her real ‘khaleh’ the whole time and was cracking up her aunt with her deliberate sweet talks and moves. Farnaz thought Arah had ‘outgrown’ the baby/TT’s stage since the last she visited in September and was more than just an apple of the eyes for everyone. Ok then, we’ll take that.

On the day after Christmas, we went shopping at the mall, just me and my sister and mom and got some serious TLC done.
Goodbye is the hardest moment even for two year old who has seen a new person only for 2 days. She turned out to take it the harshest this time though. Let's just hope for many more sweet returns home my dear.
