cooking

Now that my hands are a little more free I have more time to tap into my more *interesting* dishes which need more delicacy and patience.  and what's better than a golden, tangy saffron rice with chicken.  It took me over 3 hours to fully get it as golden as this in the oven but it was all worth it!  Yummm... The best homemade 'Tahchin' ever.

my usual veggie pizza, a family favorite, with made from scratch dough and pizza sauce. We use a 'lasagna' machine to get the thin crust for added crispness and faster cooking time.  Arah usually serves as a good connoisseur and picks out the best marinated saffron chicken pieces to try.   She's an expensive kid to satisfy!

We enjoy having homemade meal most  days and try our hardest to have dinner time as a family ritual and savoring any moment we can have as a family together.
