Another tragic loss of a friend. Masoud Bahramisharif was a gifted, kind PhD. student in Electrical engineering at DU when he left us yesterday in a fatal hit and run accident when crossing the street with his bike. Police reports that driver was under influence at the time of accident as he had asked for Marijuana before traffic light stops leading to the scene, covered in tattoos and had tinted windows on a red or maroon Jeep Cherokee 2000-2005 model and was speeding at 55-60 mph while running through the red light at an intersection across from DU. Just very angry and in shock today at why an innocent young, and ambitious life has to be sacrificed just because a person wants to get high! our hearts are broken...
