my days at home with Arah

My dear Arah,
You are now 3 years and 2 months old.
  • Your height is 37.5" (60th percentile)(September), you weigh 29 lbs( 20th percentile), and the doctors no longer measure your head circumference but the heart beat(BP) at 82/58.  You are off the whole milk and try 2% milk or almond milk as most the brain cells that needed to be formed using fat are already formed.
  •  You make more complicated sentences and use if/else statements to make your point. You bring reasoning in full sentences when asked some questions.  Like: Me: why don't you want to go to school today Arah?  Arah: because it is hard! or because I am too little.  I want to be 5!
  • You still have a passion for hands on work.  You approach a building toy with so much care and precision that your teacher told me once this is a good sign for problem solving skills.  You practice your hand-eye coordination daily and move around very carefully.  You have strong self-control.
  • You are mastering visual matching and exploring Geometrical solids.
  • Most kids your age or a little older in your primary class, are learning to count by quantity until 5, but you go well over 12 with hardly any misses.
  • You can spell short syllabus words such as pig, dog, cat, hat.  You have started on sand-paper letters and sounds and working on building pencil grasp.
  • You choose your own work and work independently and ask for a presentation when you need it.
  • You show care for nature, and plants. This is clear with your enthusiasm for eating veggtables!
  • You often like to dress yourself especailly skirts or pants.  You like to put on your fanciest dresses even for going to Costco.
  •
  •  I am very excited to whiteness your progress and growth right before my eyes!
